  • Promotion: Affiliates also promote and advertise the merchant’s product and services through various marketing channels, social media, websites, blogs, email marketing etc. They incorporate their affiliate links into the promotional content.
  • Tracking and Attribution: After the products detail and information are available on the websites, or blogs, the customers now have to buy it. Whenever a customer clicks on the affiliate links, makes a purchase, or signs in for the services, the link automatically tracks the action. The notifies the merchant about the sale or lead, and then the merchant calculates the commission.
